Annie Wersching is seen at the ‘Thor: Ragoarok’ premiere in Nov. 2017. Notably, Annie appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Leslie Dean in ‘Runaways.’

Annie was born on March 28, 1977 in St. Louis, Missouri, and went on to study at both Crossroads College Preparatory School in St. Louis’s Central West End, graduating in 1995, as well as Millikin University. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre at the latter, which she earned in 1999 before pursuing an acting career professionally.

She appeared in many iconic television shows, including several major roles of her own — particularly as Renee Walker on ’24,’ becoming Jack Bauer’s on-screen love interest. She also appeared as Damon and Stephan Salvatore’s mother on ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ Beyond that, she voiced the character of Tess in Naughty Dog’s video game ‘The Last of Us’ which was later developed into a series.
