Live in New Jersey's lap of luxury at 18 Frick Drive. Located only eight miles from Manhattan, this opulent 30,000-square-foot estate is located behind a private gate and stonewall perimeter in Alpine. The cost? $39.9 million – making this the most pricey home currently up for grabs in New Jersey.

If that seems too rich for your blood, consider this: Stone Mansion has been on and off the market for eight years and has seen numerous price cuts. It was initially listed for $68 million in 2010 by owner Richard Kurtz, chief executive of real estate investment company Kamson Corp. See, doesn't that make $39.9 million sound like a sweet discount?

The four-story, 30,000-square-foot residence has 10 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. Impressive features include 30-foot arched ceilings in the study, home theater, spa/fitness center, indoor professional basketball, 3,200-bottle wine cellar with thumb-print identification, and even a sports lounge with a bar that can serve beer on tap.

On the property's six acres are lavish gardens, tennis court, 65-foot saltwater pool, Jacuzzi, and pool house. There is also a staff quarters and a motor court with enough garage space for 11 cars.
