Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson have become a family of three!

The Emmy Award-winner turned to social media (Feb. 27) to share a handful of photos featuring her first child – Leodis Andrellton Jackson. The couple refers to their bundle of joy as, “Leo.”

“Hey Son!!!!,” the caption read, as Palmer writes after 48 hours of being a mother. “Born during Black History Month, with a name to match 😄! LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo.”

Devoted fans and notable Hollywood stars flocked to the comments to express their excitement and to send congratulatory messages.

In December, when she made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live, the “Nope” star shared her first pregnancy announcement with Jackson – a fitness trainer and former collegiate football player.

“There’s some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I wanna set the record straight — I am!” As she unbuttoned her long jacket to show her growing baby belly during her opening monologue, Palmer shouted.

Regarding her connection with Jackson, the “Hustlers” actress has largely kept her feelings private. Last November, she discussed becoming “Instagram official” with Jackson when she made an appearance on “The Tamron Hall Show.”

She explained her decision to upload pictures of herself with Jackson at the time by stating that it got harder to conceal.  “We spend all this time together, and he really is my closest friend, so it just becomes a thing where I’m not gonna hide something that makes me happy.”

Perhaps this means fans can expect plenty more pictures of Leo to come as he will be her new source of happiness.
