Nominated for Best Actress for her role in the film, Carol, the star, who already has two Academy Awards under her belt, looked completely stunning in her Armani Prive gown while she strutted her stuff on the 2016 Oscars red carpet on Feb. 28. Her dress, which featured a gorgeous train and romantic floral ornamentation, was simply breathtaking. She really outdid herself this time and we just loved watching her take in her moment in such a stunning ensemble!

The Australian beauty also looked completely fresh-faced with nude lips and a light smokey eye. Her freshly chopped locks and minimal makeup truly brought the whole look together and complimented her fairytale dress so well. And her styling? Totally on POINT. There was no need for a necklace as Cate donned glamorous drop earrings decked out in sparkly diamonds.

Now it’s no surprise that Cate went for a unique statement look. After all, her style choices are always a surprise — remember when she donned a totally unique Givenchy frock at the Golden Globes earlier this year? Totally brilliant!
