Zendaya, 24, is returning to our screens as Rue Bennett on HBO’s Euphoria, and opened up about whether Drake, 34, really handed out bags of cash at the show’s season one wrap party. The Disney star turned Emmy Award winner revealed that the rapper, who was also an executive producer on the hit series, did give out money to party guests. “I heard that at your wrap party, he brought gift bags for everyone, and it was bags of money. Is that true?” Jimmy Kimmel asked Zendaya when she appeared on the December 3 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The California-born actress then set the record straight. “It wasn’t exactly that! I don’t know the full situation, but I know at our wrap party, Drake was gifting money,” she told the late night host. “People would enter into a raffle, and people won money, which was cool, especially for our crew members. They were very, very happy about that.” Jimmy then jokingly asked whether the “One Dance” hitmaker “[gave] out American money or that phony Canadian money.”

Zendaya quickly replied, “I don’t know. I’ll have to ask. I can find that out for you.” She also dished on her recent Emmy win, in which she became the youngest person ever to take home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. “One of my friends makes the best pancakes in the world, so she hooked us up with pancakes,” she said of her post-ceremony celebration. “My mom had just learned a song that she wanted to share with everyone, so her and my dad decided it was a good time to whip out a little duet.”

Fans were so happy to see Zendaya take home the trophy, as she received plenty of love after her historic win from thousands of followers, including Drake. He posted a photo of Zendaya to his Instagram Story, along with the caption, “@Zendaya @euphoria it was a LOCK… congratulations.”
